Hey, I’m Sage.

What happens if you’re interested in learning about a million different things - from how the Star Trek universe works to how performance studies works? It turns out the best answer is to create multiple blogs to document the journey.

About

Sage Elliott (she/they)

πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆI’m a 40-something based in Pennsylvania, USA. I identify as a queer feminist; both these identities are important to me. Is it possible for someone to be interested in too many things? If it is, then I have a really big problem. It might be fair to call myself multi-passionate, but I’m not sure I love that term. I consider myself a lifelong learner; I believe anyone can learn, regardless of age.

The Blogs

In 2025, I decided to finally start a blog. Writing has always been something I’ve enjoyed; why not write about what I’m learning? One blog turned into three. Three blogs became five. Do I always have the time to keep all of them updated regularly? Nope. Am I going to try anyway? Yes. What’s life like on the USS Enterprise? How have women and girls contributed to fan communities? What are some good books by authors who aren’t cis dudes? My blogs explore these questions…and more.
